New Google Mail Lab: Preview Pane

Ever wish that you could view your list of Gmail messages as well as see the content of an individual message? The Gmail Lab "Preview Pane" provides this functionality; click on the image below for an example. This works especially well when you have lots of screen space.

To enable this lab:

1. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of your Gmail window and choose "Mail settings". 
2. Click on the "Labs" tab and search for "preview pane". 
3. Click the "Enable" radio button to the right and then click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page.

Try Out the Google Docs New Look

Along with Gmail and Google Calendar, you can now try out the new look for Google Docs. To do this, click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the Google Docs page and select "Try the New Look".
